Best Israeli food in Houston! The meals are fresh and delicious, you can feel they were made with love. The place is beautiful and clean and the service is very good. We ordered the shawarma and the schnitzel and we loved it! The side dishes are great as well. The fried tortilla is wowwww! We highly recommend eating at Oh Mama Kitchen!
My family and I had lunch at Oh Mama, and it was a great experience from start to finish. When we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and the smell of food was in the air. They serve Mediterranean dishes, all with authentic flavors. The hummus and falafel were fresh and delicious. For the main course we ordered the shawarma, amazing!! don't forget to add some of their tahini! Highly recommend we will be back!!
I will try to describe my experience. Although you already know that taste cannot be described in words. But it was just wow!! I enjoyed each bite more and more and could not stop eating until the end of the baguette. Although I usually don't finish until the end of the shawarma sandwich
Everything is made to order and so fresh!!! The dining space is small but you can sit inside or out.
My husband and I went on Sunday November 3, 2024 around 1:30pm. We ordered and was immediately offered a seat. The food came out quickly. I ordered the schnitzel with fries and the Israeli salad. My husband ordered the Kabob with rice and salad. We both had pita on the side. It was absolutely AMAZING! All of the food was delicious!! Upon paying the lady at the counter said she was “Mama” and I literally was so excited to meet her. She told us all about her food and invited us for Shabat to learn more of the food and customs. Personally, that meant to much to me and was so kind!!! We cannot wait to come back and bring family!

Although we haven't dined inside, but we have ordered food from here. They offer a wide range of options, especially if you or anyone dining has dietary restrictions. Their team is incredibly accommodating and will take the time to answer any questions and help you build a menu for your simcha. The food looked amazing and tasted delicious. We look forward to ordering again.
